The USDA Forest Service requires fixed-wing seaplane services for the Tongass National Forest. Services needed consist of one exclusive-use aircraft based in Juneau, Alaska and four exclusive-use aircraft based in Ketchikan, Alaska. The contract period will be one year with an option for two additional one year periods. The Forest Service tentatively plans to guarantee a minimum of 350 hours for the aircraft based in Juneau and 1800 hours for the aircraft based in Ketchikan during the availability period. Services which the aircraft will generally be required to perform include transportation of personnel, equipment and supplies; recon and observation; transportation of cargo; search and rescue; and fire support. Evaluation factors for award will include accident/flight safety; support capability; aircraft; flight crews seaplane experience; business practices; past performance; and price. Multiple awards are anticipated from this solicitation. This project is 100% Small Business set-aside.
