City of Grayson EWP Project is located in Carter County, Kentucky and consists of the removal and disposal of woody vegetation constricting channel flow at various sites in the City of Grayson. Minor excavation of sediment to restore channel values will also be performed. Items of work include: Seeding and Mulching of disturbed areas; Mobilization and Demobilization; Wire Mesh Gabions; Channel Reconstruction; and Channel Clearing and Shaping. Prosepctive bidders, subcontractors, and vendors may assemble for a pre-bid conference and group showing of the site on Monday, November 22, 1999, at 2:00 P.M. (EST, Local Time) at the NAtural Resources Conservation Service office, 526 East Main Street, Suite B, Grayson, Kentucky (606/474-5184, for directions only). Estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Bid security will be required if offer is $100,000.00 or greater. If offer is less than $100,000.00, no bid security will be required, however alternative payment security must be provided bythe sucessful offeror.
