DESC Analytical and management services in support of the Office of
Emergency and Remedial Response in the planning, management,
implementation, and evaluation of the Superfund program. These
activities include: strategic planning; interfacing with information
technology systems; support for the Superfund Comprehensive
Accomplishments Plan (SCAP) and the Government Performance Results Act
(GPRA); resource management; support for the comprehensive
Environmental Response, compensation, and Liability Information System
(CERCLIS); communications outreach; data information
collection/analysis/survey/distribution; guidance support; training;
program planning; regulation/legislative analysis; and facilitator
support. It is the Government's intent to award one
cost-plus-fixed-fee, level of effort contract. The contract period of
performance shall be for a three year base period with no option years.
The contract will have an estimated total level of effort of 377,000
professional and technical hours. Alternateproposals will not be
accepted. The SIC is 8742. The purpose of the CBD announcement is to
notify potential offerors of EPA's requirement, generate the source
list, and direct interested parties to the EPA's "doing business with
EPA" Internet World Wide Web site at http://www.epa.gov/oam for further
information on this procurement as it becomes available. The RFP,
amendments and other related items for this procurement will be posted
on this Web site and can be downloaded/viewed. Interested parties must
