Woehrer, Contracting Officer (301)757-8961 The Naval Air Systems Command, Materials Management Division at NADEP Jacksonville, FL requires a contractor to provide stockroom management and operations support services for approximately ten stockrooms. NADEP Jacksonville utilizes a computerized inventory control system entitled Manufacturing Resource Planning II Compass Contract/Naval Industrial Material Management (MRP II). The contractor will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all receipted materials. This includes verification of Part Numbers, National Item Identification Numbers, quantity, and condition of materials received. The contractor will perform computer program transactions necessary to reflect the receipted items in MRP II system and file and maintain records of all DD-1348s. The contractor is responsible for storage of materials in correct bins, performing bin-to-bin and stockroom-to-stockroom transfers and establishing trays (i.e., pie carts) for most commonly used materials. Some materials may be classified as hazardous. Therefore, the contractor personnel must meet the requirements found in 29.CFR 1910.1200 HAZCOM and 1910.120 Hazardous Waste. The anticipated stockrooms hours of operation will be 7:00am to 3:30pm weekdays. Notwithstanding, the contract will contain provisions for extending the weekdays hours and Saturday and Sunday operations, when required. The period of performance will contain a base year and four one-year options, totaling 60 months. Award is anticipated by 3 March 2000. The type of contract contemplated is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract with Fixed Priced orders. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrialization Classification is 8711 (Engineering Services: Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons), and the Small Business Size Standard is $20,000,000.00 average annual sales or receipts for the last three fiscal years.
