sources to provide maintenance service for an Integrated Commercial
Intrusion Detection System (ICIDS). The system consists of a mainframe
located at Fort Stewart, Georgia with approximate 250 individual units
on Fort Stewart and approximately 65 individual units on Hunter Army
Airfield, Savannah, Georgia. The current security system, manufactured
by DAQ Electronics, Piscataway, NJ, was installed in 1994 and operates
on a CTOS standard workstation but will transition to a Windows
environment during FY00. Ensuing contract will consist of semi-annual
maintenance service for the mainframe and all related individual units.
The following minimum maintenance support requirements must be
provided: man hours and all customary parts/supplies generally
associated with standard maintenance for this type system, status
reports for work completed as well as proposals for additional work
required outside the scope of the contract, and a 24 hour on call
service for system failures with the contractor or service
representative located within a 2 hour commuting distance of both Fort
Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield for rapid response. In addition, the
contractor must be capable of providing replacement parts such as (1)
RADC, +12v, 20 Pts, Int, PN:5009-ACU, (2) RADC, +12v, 8 Pts, Int,
PN:5209-ACU, (3) J-SIIDS Interface, Stargate 1000, 8 Points
PN:5325-ACU, (4) Keypad, Access/Secure, PN:4889-ACU, (5) Comb.
Keypad/Card Reader, PN:4887-ACU. All firms including 8a, Small Business
and Woman Owned businesses responding must provide written evidence of
3rd party agreements from the contractor owning the proprietary source
codes. Interested companies must identify their interest and capability
not later than 21 October 1999. Responses should be addressed to the
