73 -- MAINTENANCE SERVICE FOR GALLEY EQUIPMENT SOL N68084-99-T-SB01 DUE 101299 POC contact, sabrina brown, 843 743-7274, contracting officer sylvia boatwright, 843 743-7270 E-MAIL: click here to contact the purchasing agent, sbrown@charleston.med.navy.mil. full service maintenance contract for galley equipment. maintenance/service period to be oct 1999 through sep 2000. equipment to include, but not limited to toasters, coffe maker, conv steamer, meat slicer, freezer, ice dispenser, chill box, heated display, mixer, deep fat fryer, bun steramer, ice cream machine, milk dispenser, charbroiler, range/oven, steam kettle, electric oven, tilt grill, garbage disposal, electric oven, reefer, bread warmer grill, microwave oven, cart washer, pass thru warmer, bread warmer, food ser hot box, refrigerator, veg cutter, vacuum cleaner, deep fat filter, 4 crock warmer, blender, hot food counter, cold food counter, bread dispenser, tray conveyor. four (4) preventive maintenance visits per contract period to be performed in the months of october, january, april and july for calibration and upgrade (as required). routine cleaning and mfg's recommended maintenance to keep equipment within mfg's specifications for operation. preventive maintenance visits will be scheduled by the contractor one wek in advance. documentation of preventive maintenance service must be provided at completion. full service contract to include unlimited service/repair visits, labor, travel, parts (including any applicable glassware), and emergencies. repairs due to abuse, loss of power, loss of air or accidents are not included. work performed outside of contract hours must be approved prior to start of work and will be billed at the applicable rate once approved by the contracting officer. in the event the equipment requires extensive service which can be performed at a service center, a loaner unit will be provided at no additional cost to maintain capabilities while repairs are being accomplished. vendor to respond onboard within 24 hours of notification of a trouble call and repairs shall commence within 72 hours from the initial request for service.***** Posted 10/07/99 (W-SN389908).
