Longbrake, Contracting Officer, at 605-226-7567 The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Services is soliciting proposals from interested hospitals to provide medically necessary health care services to those IHS/CHS eligible patients who are referred for health care by the IHS because services are not available at an IHS facility. Multiple awards will be made to only those hospitals who agree to accept payment in accordance with the Indian Health Service Payment Policy entitled "Reimbursement Rates for Health Service Regulations", published in the Federal Register on June 30, 1996. Services to be performed for one year after award with four (4) one year option periods to extend for a total of five (5) years. Requests for copies of RFP 99-15 will be available approximately 15 days from publication. Bid closing date is tentatively scheduled for August 25, 2000.
