Work of this project involves interior and exterior painting of a historic structure. The structure is unique by design, enclosing a rock wall that displays rare and exposed paleozoic remains. The building is both a working paleontology lab as well as a public use facility for the display and interpretation of the cultural resource. Work consists of claing the exterior and interior window surfaces; scraping and preparing the surfaces to be refinished; painting and staining of numerous types of surfaces and materials. The major surfaces needing refinishing includes:sheetrock, structural steel glazing system; structural wood decking; and concrete block.
