Postal Service is soliciting proposals to replace the windows at the Bridgeport, CT Processing & Distribution Facility at 120 Middle St. Work includes, but is not limited to, removing and disposing of the existing windows and replacing same. The estimated cost of the work is between $400,000.00 and $700,000.00, with completion within one hundred sixty (160) calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on August 20, 1999. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a July 21, 1999 at a cost of $25.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S. Postal Service, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Only certified checks or money orders will be accepted, made payable to the Disbursing Officer, U. S.
