As contract placement authority for Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, Utah, HDQ IOC intends to issue solicitation DAAA09-99-R-2079 IAW guidelines of OMB Circular No. A-76 entitled "Performance of Commercial Activities" at Tooele Army Depot (TEAD), Tooele, UT. This solicitation will be issued on a full and open competitive basis to solicit for non-personal services to perform TEAD base operation functions. This will include such functions as installation and logistics support; maintenance, repair, alterations, and minor construction of real property; information resources which includes automation services, forms & publication management and warehouse operations management. This will be primarily a firm fixed price contract with some requirements possible on a cost plus basis. The contract will be a one year contract including a transition period and four (4) one-year options. This solicitation will be issued "Subject to Availability of Funds" on a "Short of Award" basis. Solicitation will be issued on orabout 31 AUG 99 with an estimated closing date of 29 OCT 99. A pre-solicitation conference and site-visit will be held shortly after the issue date.
