The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires a contractor to furnish to all clinical laboratories and selected outpatient clinics with a program to calculate productivity and provide a peer comparison. This program will use output services and functions performed in the laboratory. This program will be used for peer group comparisons. Peer groups will consist of laboratories with similar services and functions. The contractor will provide a quarterly report. This report should contain comparison ratios that characterize the individual laboratory's productivity, utilization and cost effectiveness. Trend information from previous quarters shall also be included to identify areas of stability and change in operating performance. SIC is 8071, $5 Million.
