The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to procure the services of a contractor to provide on an as-needed basis all personnel, equipment and facilities required by the SSA producer/director to produce an indefinite quantity of Public Service Announcements (PSAs). This procurement will be for commercial services, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The purpose of the PSAs is to keep the public informed of their rights and responsibilities under the Social Security Programs as well as to inform them of legislative changes in the Social Security law. The contractor's production and editing facilities must be within a 50 mile radius of the Social Security Administration's headquarters located in Baltimore (Woodlawn), Maryland. Services shall be procured as needed for a one-year period, either from date of award or September 30, 1999, whichever is later, with provisions for the inclusion of four (4) one-year option periods. SSA-RFP- 99-3936 is scheduled for release on or about June 28, 1999. Requests for the RFP should be received no later than 10 days after the date of this publication. No telephone requests for the RFP will be honored. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. Quotations received from other than a small business will be deemed unacceptable and given no further consideration.
