Provide Physician (Geriatric) services for the U.S. Soldiers' & Airmen's Home (USSAH) for one base year plus four one-year option periods. The USSAH is a continuing Care Retirement Community of approximately 1150 retired and former members of the Armed Forces with an average age of 74. These services are for patients in the King Health Center (KHC), which is a geriatric health care facility with a 251-bed capacity and (USSAH) and/or employees seeking services in the Treatment Room. Services are to be provided during all shifts other than 8:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m. The physician and/or the physician assistant (PA) will examine, evaluate, treat and make disposition of all patients presenting themselves to the treatment room, all patients within the inpatient service of KHC who require care. The technical proposal is limited to five pages. The evaluation factors are 1) Experience and Capability to provide geriatric physician services, 2) Management/Technical Approach, and 3) Price. This is a simplified acquisition for commercial items up to 5 million in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13. The award will be based upon best value (Defined in the solicitation).
