The Contractor shall furnish a Mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit as well as MRI technicians to provide outpatient and inpatient MRI studies for Government beneficiaries. The Contractor shall provide a Mobile MRI unit having at least 1.0 Tesla field strength and a laser film printer at Offutt AFB location. The Contractor_s equipment must have a 95t up time. The Contractor shall have a second comparable mobile unit available in the event of equipment failure. Contractor care includes furnishing all equipment, maintenance, supplies for operation of equipment, all licenses necessary for the operation of the equipment, labor, transportation, teaching, reports, and consultation. Studies shall be as comprehensive as Government requests and Contractor supplied facilities, equipment, and support services permit. Contractor care shall cover the range of Magnetic Resonance Imaging services typically provided in a civilian MTF or stand alone facility of similar size. Period of performance, 01OCT99 through 30SEP00 with four one-year option periods. Date for receipt of proposals will be on or about 16AUG99. No telephone requests for solicitations will be honored.
