Tansino, Contracting Officer, (617) 242-5663 The work of this project consists of the furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to provide repaving of nine public roadways within the Charlestown Navy Yard. The majority of the work will include removal of existing pavement using cold planing and repaving with bituminous concrete pavement (asphalt) with some full-depth reconstruction. The existing concrete pavement on the deck at the end of Pier One will be removed using hydro-demolition and replaced with a new concrete slab. Other pavement types are being used to restore minor areas where historic pavement materials (i.e., red and yellow brick, granite cobblestone, wood block, and concrete) are exposed. The project also includes some repairs to drainage lines and structures, including new catch basins and regrading to eliminate sheet drainage of water over the pier edge. This acquisition is subject to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns regardless of size. The estimated price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. There is a $100.00 charge for the solicitation documents.
