Patton, Contract Specialist, 214-767-9985 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, plans to issue solicitation IFB 149-0073 for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, scaffolding, safety equipment, plant facilities, etc. and perform all work for cleaning, repainting and required repairs of steel water tanks located at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas. A ground storage tank which is approximately 84 feet in diameter, 25 feet in height and has a storage capacity of approximately 1,000,000 gallons of potable water. An elevated storage tank which is approximately 26 feet in diameter, 47 feet in height (total elevated height 200 feet) and has a storage capacity of approximately 150,000 gallons of potable water. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about April 29, 1999 with an anticipated bid opening date on or about June 1, 1999.
