The Utah Department of Health, Division of Health Care Financing has issued a request for proposals (RFP) to solicit competitive proposals for a Clinical Claims Editor software for the Utah Title XIX Medical Assistance Program. Qualified contractors are to present the Division with a proposal to deliver: 1). A clinical Claims Editor software, 2). Develop interface software to interface the Utah's MMIS Claims Processing System with the Clinical Claims Editor, 3). Develop conversion software to convert the MMIS paid claims histories for use in the Clinical Claims Editor, 4). Supply training on the use of the Clinical Claims Editor, 5). Supply ongoing consulting to the Division to support dispute resolution with providers and on how to implement new policies into the Clinical Claims Editor and 6). Deliver annual updates/maintenance to keep the Clinical Claims Editor software current with changes in medical billing standards.
