SOL 9936SOL0025 POC Nancy Chicoski, (202)287-3665 Z- The Smithsonian Institution is seeking proposals to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, furnishings, and equipment required for the Roof Replacement, Planter Renovation, and Miscellaneous repairs at the National Musuem of American History, located at 12th and Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20560, as set forth on the Drawings (sheets 1 through 30) and Specifications, pages 1 through 152, both dated February 28, 1999, for OPP Project No. 973003. The Scope of Work (for the Base Bid and all alternates) includes, at a minimum, Replacement of Fourth Floor Roof, Replacement of Fifth Floor Roof, Replacement of Penthouse Roof, Second Floor Planters and Terrace including complete Planter re-waterproofing and repairs to terrace walls, and repair as indicated on the Drawings and Planting and Irrigation of Second Floor Planters. Detailed Plan of Accomplishment (15 pts.), 2. Quaility Assurance Plan (10 pts.), 3. Key Personnel and Subcontractors (10 pts), 4. Similar Experience and Past Performance (15 pts.), and 5.
