Miskelly, (703) 607-5361 The contractor shall provide engineering services in support of TRIDENT training facilities and technical services related to launcher systems training for the U.S. and U.K. The effort shall include evaluation of installed systems and interfaces, analysis of training materials, and identifications of improvements to the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Launcher Training Systems to increase its effectiveness. SSP intends to negotiate this requirement with Northrop Grumman Marine Systems, Sunnyvale, CA, the only known source having: (1) complete familiarity with the design of the SWS Launcher subsystems, (2) complete knowledge of the design, test and analysis database which has been collected for the SWS during development and production, (3) complete familiarity with the unique training equipment and general procedures for the training Subsystem components, and (4) complete familiarity with Strategic Weapons Launcher Subsystem training materials and personnel evaluation procedures.
