Architectural work is primarily in the Quarters and includes: handicap accessibility renovation in two Quarters units, including new cabinetry and doors, adding metal siding, replacing windows and composition shingle roofing. Other miscellaneous interior work includes replacing vinyl flooring and adding attic insulation. Mechanical work includes miscellaneous plumbing related to the aforementioned work and relocating the water heater. In the hospital, architectural work includes replacing two doors, and an arctic entry with an enclosed vestibule. Mechanical work includes revising and adding ductwork and plumbing, replacing a fan coil unit and two shower tub units. Electrical work includes work associated with the aforementioned and replacing all exit light fixtures in the hospital. In the Shop Building, add ceiling fans, an exhaust fan, and louver. Exterior site work includes replacing concrete gutters and sidewalks, and replacing a handicap ramp. The work also includes removing and replacing an underground fuel storage tank, relocating an oxygen storage tank, adding a concrete slab and wire mesh fencing. The plans and specifications use International System of Units (SI) metric equivalent measurements. Project completion time is estimated to be 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $150,000 and $350,000. The proposed contract listed herein is SET-ASIDE for 51% Indian-Owned, controlled, and operated firms under the authority of the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. 47). In accordance with the Public Health Service Acquisition Regulation Paragraph 380.503(e), not more than fifty (50) percent of the work to be performed under a prime contract awarded pursuant to the Buy Indian Act may be subcontracted to other than Indian firms. For this purpose, work to be performed does not include the provision of materials, supplies, or equipment.
