66 -- PATIENT MONITORING SYSTEM SOL RFQ 99-428 DUE 030899 POC Bryan Salas The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) has a requirement to purchase 1) a display center for a Hewlett Packard Viridia patient monitoring system consisting of a data recorder module, Uninterruptible Power Supply, and Windows NT workstation or equivalent running Windows NT software or equivalent and Viridia Information Center software or compatible equivalent (must be compatible with Viridia Information Center software) 2) laser jet printer 3) net server class PC with Uninterruptible Power Supply, display, keyboard, and trackball 4)Software enabling network functionality for 2 (two) Viridia Information Centers (or equivalent display centers) 5) all related accessories and necessary cable implementation to hook up all related components. These systems will be used for patient monitoring in an ICU. The detailed technical specifications will be provided in the Request for Quote package. All responsible sources may submit a quotation,which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All responses shall be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold for Commercial purchases up to $5 million. It is anticipated that Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIH-NIDDK-99-428 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis.
