Intended use: Containers and refrigerant will be compatible for shipping medical material (ie. pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, specimens) requiring constant chill or freeze temperature ranges. All 4 sizes listed will be used for chill shipments with fresh water ice and sizes #1 & #2 will double as dry ice shipment containers. The following lists maximum product size that each respective container would have to accommodate (not including refrigerant). The dimensions shown for container size #4 reflect the outside dimensions and do not represent maximum product size: Size 1 -- 6"L x 6"W x 6" D, Size 2 -- 14"L x 12"W x 10"D, Size 3 -- 26"L x 24"W x 22"D, Size 4 -- 48"L x 40"W x 45"D. Insulation material: Insulation material shll be polyurethane or polystyrene and will be recyclable and free of chlorofluorocarbons. The insulation will provide the required stated level of performance and maintain required temperature ranges within the specified timeframes. Outer container: Outer container shall be constructed in accordance with ASTM D 5118, type CF, type RSC, minimum bursting strength 275 pounds. The fiberbaord shall conform to Specifiction D 4727 unless otherwise specified. The period of performance for this contract will be one year with 2 option years.
