The Navy has a requirement for 2,010 each Detonator and Contact Assemblies manufactured in accordance with Naval Sea Systems Command Drawing 6537691 and associated drawings. Military specifications such as QQ-N-290, MIL-G-45204, WS 18967, and WS 22341 apply. The Government will provide the DXN-1 explosive material required for the MK 113 MOD 0 detonators. All acceptance tests/inspections shall be performed by the contractor in accordance with Drawing 6537691 and WS 22341. Completed Assemblies shall be shipped to Cerritos, CA 90701. A Pre-Award Safety Survey applies prior to award. A Firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and this procurement is reserved for Small Business concerns. The applicable SIC code is 2892 and the size standard is 750 employees. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 120 days after award. It is anticipated that a formal RFQ will be issued to satisfy this requirement. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply.
