15TH ANNUAL NATIONAL TEST & EVALUATION CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION The National Defense Industrial Association in cooperation with the Association of Old Crows, the NDIA Security Division, Nellis Air Force Base and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, announces a Call for Papers for the 15th Annual National Test & Evaluation Conference & Exhibition, to be held March 8-11, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference theme is "Test & Evaluation of Defense Information Systems, Information Warfare, and Information Assurance." The objectives of this conference focus on the roles that command, control, communications and computers have in our national life, specifically in the defense of our nation and participation in the global network, and trends in our nation's defense policy that are pushing us toward increasing our reliance on information systems. This conference will provide critical information to attendees supporting these national defense issues. Featured confirmed speakers include the Honorable Brent Scowcroft, former National Security Advisor to the President, the Honorable Duane P. Andrews, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for C3I, and Dr. Victor Shemov, nationally known author and writer on information security, and highest ranking member of the KGB to defect to the West.
