Davy, Regional Contract Specialist, 606-253-8892 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to a qualified individual or company to perform pharmacy technician services at the Federal Correctional Institution, Ashland, Kentucky. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing certification of completed and approved course in pharmacy technology leading to a certificate of completion or comparable training or experience in a related field, assisting the pharmacist in stocking, storing, and dispensing of prescription and non-prescription medications, maintaining pharmacy areas in a clean and orderly fashion, assisting the pharmacist in maintaining stock of appropriate forms utilized in the area of pharmacy, assisting the pharmacist in preparing unit doses or pre-packaged medications and assisting the pharmacist with maintaining communications with the providers on pill line medication compliance. The schedule shall be five six hour sessions per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. -- 2:30 p.m., excluding Federal holidays. This is a nonpersonal service contract and not a personnel appointment. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small business.
