The BOP is seeking vendors capable of assisting the BOP in conducting on-site assessments of the Medical/Mental Health Acuity Levels of its medical and mental health inmate population housed in six Medical Referral Centers located in Butner, North Carolina; Dallas/Ft. Worth (Ft. Worth and Carswell), Texas; Lexington, Kentucky, Rochester, Minnesota; and Springfield Missouri. The vendor will be required to: 1) review approximately 2600 medical records which includes an estimated 820 mental health records, and 2) make assessments based on the following definitions: MEDICAL/SURGICAL INPATIENT -- Acute, Subacute, and Long Term/Supportive; MEDICAL/SURGICAL OUTPATIENT -- Intermediate and Chronic Ambulatory; and MENTAL HEALTH -- Global Assessment Function (GAF) Levels I, II, III, and IV. Vendors are invited to submit information that describes: 1) Company portfolio including past experience; 2) identify proposed assessment tool/methods including the history of its use; 3) references of prior assessment of hospital surveys of acuity levels; and 4) pricing information (unit price per medical record) to assist the BOP in estimating this procurement.
