68 -- PERCP CONJUGATED ANTIBODIES SOL REQ #05DAS99 POC Dorothy Reed-Penix, Lead Purchasing Agent, (404) 842-6774 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to purchase Flurophor Antibody Conjugates Reagents on a sole source basis from Becton Dickinson Immunocytometry Systems, 2350 Qume Drive, San Jose, CA 95131. The acquisition of the required chemicals and PerCP-Conjugated Antibodies are believed to only be available from Becton Dickinson, who holds the patent and trademark for Flurophor PerCP. All of the BD reagents have already been tittered in the necessary combination in order to get the optimal amounts in our staining/permeabilization protocol. In order to be able to accurately compare the previous results of samples run with this panel to future results so that conclusions can be justifiable base on the entire data set, it is absolutely required to have the same reagents.
