This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Replacement load cell, dual bridge, 10 kip load capacity (compression and tension), Lebow Products Model No. 3161-103 dual bridge load cell or fully equivalent mechanical connections and dimensions as listed: Performance requirements: 10,000 Lbs. rated capacity, tension and compression, dual bridge; Max. Load (without zero shift): 50% overload (150% of rated capacity); 20 volts DC or AC RMS Max. Bridge excitation; Compensated temperature range, 70 F to 170f; Useable Temperature range, -65F to +200F; Temperature range, compensated: +70F to +170F; Effect of temperature on output, no more than +/-0.003 of rated reading/F; Effect of temperature on zero, no more than +/-0.002 of rated capacity/F; Nonlinearity no more than +/-0.15% of rated output; Hysteresis no more than +/-0.1% of rated output; Repeatability no more than +/-0.05% of rated output. Requirements for compatibility with D-box fixture: 1.0-14UNS -3A X 1.0(length) on one end; 1.0-14UNS -3AB X 1.0(depth) on one end; Must have an Overall length of 6-7/8 inches; Must have overall diameter no more than 2-3/8 inches. 15 each The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-07. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3826 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA, is required within 60 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
