The Industrial Operations Command (IOC) has a requirement for services: Demilitarization of Conventional Ammunition, Ammunition Supply Depot Operations, MILVAN Repair and Tenant Support. The work is currently performed at the Hawthorne Army Depot, Hawthorne, Nevada. The solicitation will include a performance based statement of work that will allow offerors considerable latitude to propose innovative approaches, based on their expertise and experience. The IOC will provide rent free use of the Hawthorne Army Depot via a no-cost Facilities Use Contract if an offeror desires to use the depot to satisfy the IOC'd requirements. The no-cost Facilities Use Contract will require maintenance of the government owned facilities that the service contractor intends to use. The IOC will analyze the response to this market survey to determine if its Demilitarization, Ammunition Supply Depot Operations, MILVAN Repair and Tenant Support requirements can be satisfied with existing commercial or modified commercial services that are available in the marketplace. You are encouraged to provide a narrative description of your firm, its experience in providing the types of service the IOC needs and information about the common business practives (contract length, payment terms, etc.) of firms engaged in providing these types of services in the commercial marketplace.
