This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; written quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. II. This acquisition & standard industrial classification code is 3577 and the related small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This procurement is full and open competition. Technical literature must be included in the bid if offering anything other than make and model specified to insure technical equivalence. The item is being procured as repair parts for the existing installed base of equipment, which consists of Netframe computers VII. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items is hereby incorporated with the following :The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the low price, responsive, responsible offeror, technically acceptable whose offeror conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, other terms considered. The Government will subject the supplies offered to in-use testing as defined in FAR 11.801 to determine technical acceptability. The Government requires three calendar days for testing. No multiple awards, one award is contemplated. Those tendering supplies other than those listed above in CLINs by part number shall submit bid samples (one for each CLIN) which shall be subjected to in-use testing prior to award to determine the offered supplies' technical acceptability. Prices shall be by multiplying the unit price against the quantity for each CLIN, then all CLINS shall be added together to arrive at a total price in order determine total low price for consideration for award. Prices shall also include all shipping charges F.O.B. Destination. Those that submit a quotes shall submit prices for the above items unit and extended prices including total, representation and certifications, their Dun and Bradstreet number and their tax I.D. number.
