R -- SOURCES SOUGHT TO PROVIDE WEATHER OBSERVATION SERVICES AT HAVRE, MONTANA. SOL WASC9-10 POC Randall Brown (206) 526-6226/FAX (206) 526-6025 Sources sought to provide weather observation services at Havre, Montana. Period of proposed contract will be for 10/1/98 through 9/30/99. Contractor will provide National Weather Service-certified weather observers to monitor the weather conditions at the Havre airport. Contractor will augment, backup, and edit the ASOS observations as necessary to make the observations representative of the area immediately surrounding the airports. Weather observers will edit the ASOS observation when it is unrepresentattive or missing parameters. ASOS observation will be augmented for certain conditions. Currently anticipated that contract period will only be for one year. State if small business with request for solicitation.
