Firms must meet the following criteria: 1) Must have a registered architect on staff; 2) Must show expertise in the design of Life Support/Emergency Rooms and associated exam rooms; 3) Must be able to provide specifications in Microsoft Word; 4) Must be able to provide drawings in AutoCad R14; Area of consideration limited to 150 mil radius of Augusta, Georgia. This solicitation is issued under the provisions of the Small Business Demonstration Program (PL 100-656). Interested firms shall submit SF 254, A/E and Related Services Questionaire and SF 255, A/E Related Services for Specific Projects to Contracting Officer, VA Medical Center, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, Georgia 30904-6285. Evaluation factors based on: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services. 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in type of work required. 3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time. 4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules. 5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project.
