R -- TELERADIOLOGY INTERPRETATION SERVICES SOL RFP 10N3ACQ-08-98 DUE 082198 POC Maryann Donohue (718) 579-3318 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number 10N3ACQ-08-98 is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) subject to full & open competition. This solicitation and incorporated provisions & clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-06 & are applicable. Description of Service: Contractor must provide reading, interpretation and submission of reports for x-ray exams (digital or film) as required by each VA. Contractor will provide interpretation of digital and/or film images of CT scans (with or without contrast), diagnostic ultrasound, and plain film x-rays. The interpretations must be provided by one or more fully qualified board certified, credentialed and privileged radiologist(s). Reports will be transcribed (by contractor) into the VA decentralized hospital computer program (DHCP) of the referring sites. The VA will provided: access to DHCP; and initialy, a dual headed VistARad Interpretation Station which will be upgraded to a four-head station; and will work with the contractor to establish an appropriation network for image transmission. The above service will be provide to nine (9) facilities located in VISN 3. Include a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offeror, Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with offer.
