Botella, Point of Contact, (215)233-6551, fax (215) 233-6558 The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), intends to negotiate solely with Environmental Growth Chambers, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, to upgrade the lighting from incandescent/fluorescent, water-cooled LCM light system to the EGC Air-Cooled Sunbrella High Intensity Discharge (H.I.D.) System on two (2) EGC-M96, Environmental Growth Chambers at its location in Beaver, West Virginia. The contractor is required to install and test the upgraded equipment. The contractor shall also provide demonstration and instruction on the use and maintenance of the H.I.D. System. Companies with the demonstrated capability of providing this upgrade and maintenance on it must submit a descriptive statement, including descriptive literature, specifically addressing the equipment's components and availability, and the company's capability to maintain/support it.
