The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Product Manager for Petroleum and Water Systems, is seeking sources to provide a single source to the Army and other services for water and fuel collapsible fabric tank assemblies to include those identified in the table below. A five-year requirement contract is planned for this effort. This planned 1999 contract effort will meet all services' requirements. PURPOSE: This questionnaire is strictly for information to be used by the Government only and will not be made available to any other non-Government agency. We understand that the nature of several of the questions may require a commitment of time on your part. The amount of detail you provide for each question is left to your judgement. However, we need this information to best understand and evaluate the potential to provide the capability desired by the Government. Your cooperation in answering these questions will help us develop the best acquisition strategy for these products. ESTIMATED REQUIREMENTS: The estimated annual requirements for each tank are shown below. Capacities are expressed in gallons. Quantities include known joint service requirements. (1) Existing Army Contract; SPECIFICATIONS: The military specifications for the collapsible fabric tank assemblies are in the process of being revised into performance specifications. For the purpose of defining tank assembly requirements for this market survey, Sections 1-3 of the draft performance specifications are provided below. Please review and provide comments regarding your company's ability to meet the requirements.
