The intention of this notice is to notify the HBCU/MI community that the period for submission of capability statements is extended from 24 July 1998 to 3 August 1998. The purpose of the capability statement is to enable ARL to determine the HBCU/MI community's capability to fulfill ARL's research needs. The capability statement should identify the topic(s) proposed for HBCU/MI set aside and should contain the principal investigator(s) resume, if applicable and available, and an overview of the HBCU/MI's capabilities in the technical area proposed to include equipment, facilities, and a synopsis of past and current performance in the proposed area of research.
