This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Medical Supplies and Services Contracting Branch, intends to procure the upgrades to the Sentient systems in order to provide the Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, a Third Party Insurance Outpatient Collection System. The government requires acquisition of hardware and operating system software, installation, configuration, and implementation of a Third Party Insurance Outpatient Collection System for the Regional Fileserver at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and install and configure remote site software at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to include training and maintenance. The Sentient system is manufactured and provided by Keystone Medical Systems, a subsidiary of Companion Technologies Company, Inc., P. O. Box 65045, Lubbock, Texas 79464-5045. The Government requires that products be completely networkable and compatible with the existing Government environment at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Award is to be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. Delivery is to be made to Brooke Army Medical Center, Attention: Information Management Office (MCHE-IMR), Building 3600, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-6200.
