The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source modification for an Electro-Optical augmentation to the AN/USM-657 under contract M67854-97-D-3047 with ManTech Test Systems Incorporated, Chantilly, Virginia. The effort is to develop an Electro-Optical augmentation to the AN/USM-657 which will require research of data, formulation of test parameters, and integration of the hardware and software into the Third Echelon Test Set. The acquisition includes the Electro-Optical augmentation, spares, maintenance training, engineering and technical support and initial Test Program Sets to support fielded USMC weapon systems. As the designer and developer of the AN/USM-657, ManTech is the only firm with the required technical and engineering expertise that can support this effort.
