Purchase of the following: Four each self-checkout systems to include, software license, 12 month software and hardware maintenance, staff training, SIRSI interface (compatible with SIRSI, V.8.1.7) automated circulation system, number key pad for customer use as well as library card reader/scanner, allows customer to checkout materials and to deactivate security tag on each item, monitor provides checkout instructions to customer. Prompts may be customized, automatically prints out date due slips, either for each item or at the end of transactions. Raster laser scanner to read item bar codes. RS-232 communications with serial port, TCP/IP ethernet connection, dual level password protection, personal identification number (PIN) feature, audible verification signals successful checkout of item, automatic screen saver, year 2000 compliant, energy start compliant, freight, installation. These self-checkout systems will be utilized at the various Army libraries on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Required delivery is 60 days after receipt of order.
