The combined CBD synopsis for 1PI-R-1097-98, is hereby amended in response to several issues raised by interested parties as follows: Extrusion center line height should be 42 to 45 inches in height; voltage supply is 460V/3 phase/60 Hz; Extrusion direction, from the operator's view of machine, shall be left to right; Standard size extrusion pullers should be 6X39; Sample pieces for profile are available upon request; The equipment must be diverse to produce living hinge profile as well as other parts. The only difference should be the die; The offerors shall identify and include, in their proposal, all equipment required to operate the extrusion line, which will include such items as material hopper loader and portable chiller. Equipment shall be self contained. The Government shall provide cooling tower; Mounting pad shall be optional. Include only if required by equipment; The living hinge is a single material extrusion and should not require an additional extruder. Rigging and setup are still required. Electrical hook-up can be completed by Government. Correction on line item 0001: Extruders shall be 3 inch in diameter instead of 2.5 inch. Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05 will replace 97-04 in the solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions. Closing date shall be extended through Friday, 07/17/98 at 1:30 PM E.S.T.
