Work includes the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, disposal, transportation and supervision necessary for the Shinnecock Waterfront Rehab project at USCG Station Shinnecock, Hampton Bays, NY. Work includes demolition of two timber piers totaling approximately 1050 square feet and complete removal of 51 timber bearing and fender piles; demolition of a 2400 square foot concrete pier and complete removal of 41 timber bearing and fender piles; demolition of 1200 square feet of concrete wharf (timber bearing piles to remain); installation of 40 lineal feet of 4" x 12" timber sheet driven to a tip elevation of -15' Below Mud Line; construction of 2700 square feet of new concrete wharf including installation of 17 new timber bearing piles and 10 new fender piles; installation of a 1150 square foot concrete floating dock (dock will be anchored by six (6) steel pile) ; and incidental related work. MARINE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WORK. Completion time is 120 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. All other information remains the same. Posted 06/24/98 (0175)
