Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract in support of USN and FMS for engineering and logistics services with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516. MDC, the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft, is the only known firm possessing the adequate existing facilities, tooling, and special test equipment to perform this requirement in timely manner.
