All labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals necessary for layout, installing and performing the stabilization and restoration of the Saratoga Monument. Including the salvage of: exterior granite base paving, brass, doors, windows, and interior trim, exterior bronze statues and plaques and interior plaques, interior granite dado and frieze slabs, terra cotta units, tile floor at first through fourth platforms. Removal of: lead-coated copper roofing and flashing, aluminum windows. Removal or salvage of all interior elements except wrought-iron platform framing, including the following; cementitious coating on wall, metal stairway, metal, concrete, and brick platforms, terrazzo flooring. Removal of: existing lightning protection system, and electrical components. Work on the building's interior and exterior shall include, but not by limited to: doweling monument's stone base to its foundation; grout dowels and reset granite base paving; cleaning of granite; injection grouting of monument's stone base at grade; pressure grouting of inter-wythe voids in masonry; thermographic analysis of structure after pressure grouting; epoxy repair of vertical cracks in stones; pointing of entire structure, interior and exterior; resetting of granite colonettes; provide new terne-coated stainless steel roof and flashing; provide new wood windows and storm doors; restoration of brass doors, windows and plaques; re-installation of exterior bronze statues and plaques; install new platforms; repair and reinstall metal stairway up to fifth platform; install new observation platform; install new tile flooring at base level; reinstall tile flooring at first through fourth platforms; install new and salvaged terra cotta elements; provide new: paneled wood reception desk, lightning protection system, and exterior platform lift; Provide new electrical and communications system and components and upgrade existing service capacity. This solicitation is issued pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns regardless of size.
