Z -- SUBSTATIONS 1,2 AND 3 SWITCH GEAR REPAIR SOL F11623-98-R0012 DUE 071698 POC 2Lt Felita N. Boldin 618-256-1500 xt 227 Repair Switch Gear Substations 1,2 and 3, at Scott AFB IL 62225-5015. The principle items of work shall include but are not limited to the following: Applying to Substations 1,2 and 3 provisions to replace the substation secondary distribution switchgear (5kV rated) with new 15kV rated, out door, non walk in, metal clad circuit breaker switch gear mounted on concrete pad. Provisions for substation's secondary operating voltage level is, and will continue to remain for the foreseeable future, 4.16V Y/2.4kV. All new secondary switchgear and all new devices and cable on the line side of that gear, shall be 15kV rated, to support a possible future system change to 12.47kV Y/7.2kV secondary voltage level. Provisions for the secondary switchgear shall include a main CB, and the quantity of outgoing feeder CB's as indicated on the drawings. The gear shall include the following: In the incoming cubicle, surge arresters, and voltage transformers for station auxilery power. Metering on all circuit breakers. Copper bus. Internal light and switch plus internal 120v receptacle plus heater per module. Provisions shall be made to plan and execute the work to minimize cut-over down time. Provisions shall be made to demolish the existing secondary switchgear.The magnitude of this project is 1mil to 5mil. The proposed contract is herein unrestricted.
