F -- LARGE WOOD COLLECTION SOL R6-15-98-76 DUE 071598 POC Contact: Charlette MacDonald, 541/957-3233 Project consists of the collection of large wood in the Steamboat Basin on the North Umpqua Ranger District, Douglas and Lane Counties, Oregon. Work consists of gathering logs blown down along roads, hauling and stockpiling at designated locations within Little Rock Creek and Horse Heaven watersheds. Estimated start work is early August with a project completion time of 30 days. This is a Request for Quotes requiring completion of a questionnaire covering technical capability and past performance, detailed technical proposals are not required. Award evaluation criteria include technical capability specific to collection and haul of blowdown logs including rootwads and past performance history in addition to price; award may be made without discussions. This is an indefinite quantity type contract; the amount of work shown is estimated only. This project may include separately priced option items for related work.
