The software must be able to accept display and store real time position data input from a navigation receiver. Positions must be featured against coastline contours, latitude and longitude grids and information such as bathymetric contours and display vector based electronic charts. It will be integrated with a Global Positioning System, GPS position data in a single relational database and must be compatible with Geographic Information System, GIS.
