In the presence of cohort information the vendor shall: Develop summary and descriptive statistics in order to provide a complete picture of nucleotide variability between cohorts; Analyze congruence between group structure and predicted group structure; Conduct coalescent analysis to estimate the rate of transmission between cohorts and the migration rates. Other analysis require identification of putative recombinants using existing and novel methods and identification of the rate of recombination using coalescent methods. The period of performance for the proposed contract is not to exceed six months from date of award. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to 41 U.S.C. (253 (c) (1). Minimum qualifications of prospective offerors shall be: Previous participant in laboratory studies and analysis of CDC's HIV specimens; Access to specimen data and the ability to site specific data necessary to answer research questions; Advanced degrees in clinical, laboratory and/or social sciences coupled with previous experience in conducting similar analysis.
