SOL RFQ 11-98-34 DUE 042898 POC Rex Fisher, (530) 283-0555 The Plumas, Lassen, and Modoc National Forests intend to sell by Oral Auctions, Surplus Data General equipment and miscellaneous computer equipment. There will be two oral acutions held. The first oral auction will be held in Quincy, California on Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at 60 Bresciani Lane at 11:00am. A two hour viewing period will be held prior to the auction from 9:00am until 11:00am the same day. This oral auction will consist of the offering of at least two separate lots. They will consist of Surplus Data General equipment of approximately 250 items and miscellaneous computer equipment of approximately 55 items. The second oral auction will be held in Susanville, California on Wednesday, April 29, 1998 at the Lassen National Forest Service Warehouse at 5th and Oak Streets at 11:00am. A two hour viewing period will be held prior to the auction from 9:00am until 11:00am the same day. This oral auction will consist of several lots in which Surplus Data General equipment will be offered (approximately 150 items). The lots of Data General equipment and miscellaneous computer equipment may be broken up into smaller lots at the time of sale. Written sealed bids will be accepted from interested parties if they are unable to attend the oral auctions. These bids will be read as the base at which the oral auction will start. If no higher verbal offer is received then the highest written bid will prevail. The written sealed bids bust be submitted to the US Forest Service, Plumas National Forest, Supervisor's Office, P.O. Box 11500, 159 Lawrence Street, Quincy, CA 95971 by the close of business on Friday, April 24, 1998.
