The proposed contract will be awarded as an indefinite-delivery/requirements type contract with a base ordering period of one (1) year with one (1) -- one (1) year option. Option will be evaluated with the base period. Place of performance will be at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Closing date for receipt of offers will be specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) when issued. Those contractors who requested copies under solicitation number N00181-97-R-0040 need not re-submit their request as this solicitation is the replacement for N00181-97-R-0040.
