67 -- LONG RANGE SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT SOL 00198MF DUE 032498 POC Karren Bodine 817/837-2070 phone or 817/837-2252 fax The DEA, Office of Aviation Operations, is seeking quotes on a Long Range Surveillance System with the following specifications: 1) The vendor shall supply a long range high performance Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) multi-sensor camera system for covert surveillance operations onboard a Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft. 2)The system shall contain a high magnification INFRARED and Day TV sensor payload to facilitate long stand off, non observable, suspect observation. The system, will be able to view targets of interest during periods from total light to total darkness, including periods of limited visibility such as light rain, or light fog. The system shall be housed in a gyro-stabilized turret that is easily mountable to the helicopter.
